Please Read Prior to Booking or Arrival
The following policies are intended to keep our resort fun, fair and safe for guests, staff and locals.  Payment of deposit is deemed acceptance of the following:

ReservatioNS

Prepayment of 50% of your full booking (+ GST) is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance of a reservation will be processed day of arrival.

Reservations made up to 2 days before arrival will be processed in full at the time of booking.
1
A 3 night minimum stay is required over a long weekend.

If you wish to extend your stay, and your site is available, please notify reception before 10:00 am on your scheduled departure date.

Specific site requests are an additional $25.  We will do our best to accommodate your request but, we can not guarantee.

cancellationS

Cancellations within 7 days of scheduled arrival are subject to a $35 cancellation fee. Any changes to your reservation must be received by email 7 days before arrival.

Cancellations can not be accepted by phone. Cancel by email only to info@gardenbayresort.com

Cancellations received within 2 days of scheduled arrival will result in a forfeit of your entire deposit.
1
No refunds will be provided to no-shows or early departures.

It’s fun here anytime, rain or shine! Sorry, we do not give credits or refunds due to inclement weather.

Late Arrivals

We understand that ferries may be delayed, but we are not able to assist with check ins after 8pm. Inform us as soon as you know, and we will make sure you are able to self-check in.

Occupancy Rules

Check-in 2:00 pm. Check out is 11:00 am. Late check-out will result in a full or partial day fee.

Prices are based on 2 adults per site. Extra adults $5/person per day. *Max. four adults per site
1
Child age 12 and under: no charge. Child age 12+ $5/day. *Max occupancy 6 people per site

You must be at least 18 years of age to secure a permit for a site.
1
Maximum of 3 pieces of shelter equipment are allowed per site, only 1 of which may be a RV unit
1
If you wish to change campsites, contact the office before occupying a different one.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or animal without notice or reason.
1
Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for violating campground rules and for disruptive or destructive behaviour.

Site Policies

This is a family campground. We ask that everyone behaves in a respectful manner.

Kids are at play throughout our property. A speed limit of 10km/hour is strictly enforced.

Music must be off between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am. Loud music is not permitted at any time.

Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 8:00 am
1
Visitors must part in specified area. Please ask your visitors to leave by 10:00 pm.

Alcohol can only be consumed within your campsite. No alcohol permitted in common areas.

No generator permitted please. Check with office if there is a problem.

For after-hours emergencies, please call the on-site manager at 604-393-3823. In the case of a health emergency, please call 911.

Anyone failing to comply with campground regulations will be required to vacate the property immediately. No refunds will be provided.

Garden Park RV Resort is not responsible for any loss of or damage to any personal or private property. Please keep all valuables locked away.

EnvironmenT

Cutting or chopping trees on or around the Garden Bay RV Resort property is prohibited. Firewood is available for purchase.

We kindly ask that you do not tie or nail anything to bushes, campground structures, or trees. Rain covers must be free-standing and secured to the ground.

Our property contains environmentally sensitive areas. Please stay out of the designated areas.

To protect the local flora and fauna, we ask that you do not forage from areas on or surrounding the property. Roasting sticks are available at the supply store.

Garbage And Food

The locals include many critters including bears, ravens, raccoon, eagles, etc. Unfortunately, “a fed bear is a dead bear”. For everyone’s safety, please avoid attracting them to our campground.

Please do not clean fish on the property. Fish must be cleaned, and remains disposed of, before returning to the property.  (Fish and garbage odours are bear attractants)

Please secure all food and coolers in your RV or vehicles before you retire for the night.

To ensure that our property remains safe, staff will remove any food or garbage that is left unattended and/or is not stored in a vehicle or other safe location.

Please use our garbage and recycling services & ensure that all garbage cans are properly closed.

Campsites must be kept clean and free of food scraps. For the enjoyment of all our guests, please clean up after yourself throughout the property.

Camp FireS

All fires must be contained to a fire pit. Please do not relocate the fire pit area.

All fires must be monitored by an adult.

Fire pits are not to be used for burning garbage. Please only use CLEAN firewood (no metals, nails, paint, stains, etc). Firewood is available for purchase the supply store.

At certain times, there may be a campfire ban in effect. This is strictly enforced by law; any infraction may result in being required to vacate the campground.

Pets

Non-aggressive, quiet pets only.

Fees for pets are per visit. $15/pet. Limit of 2 per campsite.

Pets must be kept on leash at all times. Please do not leave your pets unattended.

Please be responsible & pick up after your pet. Dispose of pet waste in garbage receptacles.

Vehicles

All vehicles must be registered at the office. A valid parking pass should be on display at all times.

Parking for one vehicle (or 2 motorcycles) is included. Extra vehicle passes $6/day.
1
Vehicles are not to be parked on any grass or roadway, or in other campsites.
1
Guests must park in the allocated visitor parking area.
1
Boats/boat trailers are not permitted to park within sites. Boat parking area is available.

Unrefunded Deposits

Please email us regarding any unreturned deposits, as we have no way of knowing otherswise.
